Information for High School Students and Parents

So you're wondering about Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Food Science and what we can offer you?

A career in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry provides an extremely wide range of fascinating and challenging opportunities during and on completion of your studies.

For information about HSC subjects to take and the latest UAC information, contact Dr Graeme Bushell, our Director of Teaching and Learning.

We recognise that you're interested in more than just Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Food Science, so as well as our standard full and part-time degree programs, we have a number of degrees programs available that combine a slightly modified standard program with your choice of a Masters of Biomedical Engineering or Commerce or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

There's also UNSW's famous General Studies program where you get to study subjects from many diverse areas such as music, the internet, languages or visual arts.

But life is more than study right? That's where student societies come in handy.

The Chemical Sciences and Engineering Undergraduate Societies run events like the 1st Year orientation camp that are great opportunities to socialise with your class mates.
