Both PhD student, Ian Goon, and undergraduate student, Mega Ng, have received ARNAM 2008 prizes. Ian received the Oral Presentation Prize, and Mega received the Poster Presentation Prize. ARNAM 2008 Annual Workshop was held in Deakin University, Victoria from 15-18 December 2008. Ian’s presentation was titled ‘Fabrication and Dispersion of Gold Shell Protected Magnetite Nanoparticles for Biomedical Applications’ and Mega’s was titled ‘Silver Titanium Dioxide Coatings for Anti Bacterial Application’.
